Nest OS Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Nest OS, a personal and household financial-management application published under the YaerYield brand.

By creating an account, accessing Nest OS, or using its features, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use Nest OS.

1. About Nest OS

Nest OS is a software application designed to help individuals and households organise and understand personal financial information.

Features may include budgeting, accounts, transactions, bills, savings goals, debt planning, Emergency Fund planning, School Fund planning, reports, notifications, and household collaboration.

Nest OS may offer Free, Pro Solo, and Pro Household plans.

2. Personal financial management tool

Nest OS is intended to provide organisational, planning, calculation, and informational tools.

Nest OS is not a bank, lender, investment adviser, financial adviser, insurance provider, broker, tax adviser, or legal adviser.

Information, projections, calculations, financial-health indicators, repayment strategies, savings estimates, or other outputs produced by Nest OS are provided for general planning purposes only.

You remain responsible for your own financial decisions.

Where appropriate, you should obtain independent professional advice before making significant financial, investment, tax, insurance, or legal decisions.

3. Your account

You are responsible for:

providing accurate account information
maintaining control of your account and device
keeping authentication credentials secure
notifying YaerYield if you believe your account has been compromised
ensuring information you enter into Nest OS is accurate where accuracy is important to your planning

You must not share passwords, authentication codes, or other security credentials with YaerYield support.

4. Financial data you enter

Nest OS may allow you to manually record information such as:

accounts
balances
transactions
budgets
bills
savings goals
loans and debts
Emergency Fund information
education planning
household financial information

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information you provide.

Calculations and reports produced by Nest OS depend on the data entered into the application.

5. No execution of financial transactions

Nest OS does not itself:

transfer money
make bank payments
execute investment trades
open financial products
apply for loans
move funds between financial institutions

Any action involving money or financial products must be completed through the appropriate bank, broker, payment provider, or other financial service.

6. Free and paid plans

Nest OS may offer different feature levels.

These may include:

Free
Core personal-finance features.

Pro Solo
Additional advanced planning, reporting, and other premium functionality.

Pro Household
Additional household collaboration features and other premium functionality.

Available features may change over time as Nest OS develops.

Any material changes affecting paid subscription benefits will be communicated as required.

7. Google Play subscriptions

Paid Nest OS subscriptions distributed through the Android application may be purchased using Google Play Billing.

Google Play processes the transaction and manages payment information.

Subscription pricing, billing frequency, renewal terms, and any applicable offers will be shown in the Google Play purchase interface before you complete a purchase.

Google requires Play-distributed digital subscriptions to clearly disclose their terms and provides subscription management through Google Play.

8. Automatic renewal

Where a Nest OS subscription is sold as an auto-renewing subscription, it will renew according to the billing terms displayed by Google Play unless it is cancelled.

You are responsible for reviewing the subscription terms shown before purchase.

9. Managing or cancelling your subscription

You can manage or cancel an eligible Google Play subscription through Google Play.

Nest OS also provides access to the relevant Google Play subscription-management experience where supported.

Cancellation generally prevents future renewal. Access to paid features may continue until the end of the already-paid billing period, subject to Google Play rules and applicable law. In some jurisdictions different cancellation or refund rights may apply.

10. Refunds

Purchases made through Google Play are subject to Google Play’s applicable payment, cancellation, and refund rules, as well as applicable consumer law.

YaerYield may provide assistance with subscription-related questions but does not control all Google Play payment decisions.

11. Shared Household

Pro Household may allow multiple authorised users to participate in one household.

Household owners and members may have different permissions.

You should only invite people whom you trust to access the household information made available through the shared workspace.

You are responsible for managing invitations, membership, and household access appropriately.

12. Notifications and reminders

Nest OS may provide notifications or reminders for bills, savings plans, financial-calendar events, or other features.

Notifications are provided as a convenience.

You remain responsible for making payments, meeting deadlines, monitoring account balances, and taking required financial actions.

YaerYield does not guarantee that every notification will be delivered at a particular time, because delivery may depend on device settings, operating-system behaviour, permissions, and other technical conditions.

13. Reports, projections, and calculations

Nest OS may generate reports, financial projections, payoff estimates, savings estimates, or similar outputs.

These outputs are based on information entered into the app and assumptions used by the relevant feature.

They should not be treated as guaranteed future results.

14. Advertising

The Free plan may display advertising.

Paid Pro plans may be offered without advertising as described in the product at the relevant time.

Advertising does not determine or influence financial-planning calculations or recommendations within Nest OS.

15. Acceptable use

You must not use Nest OS to:

violate applicable law
attempt unauthorised access to another user or household
interfere with the security or operation of the service
reverse engineer or misuse the service except where applicable law expressly permits it
upload malicious content
abuse support systems
use another person’s account without permission
attempt to circumvent paid feature controls or subscription verification

16. Intellectual property

Nest OS, YaerYield branding, application design, software, graphics, documentation, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to YaerYield unless otherwise stated.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Nest OS or YaerYield intellectual property to you.

You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Nest OS in accordance with these Terms.

17. Third-party services

Nest OS relies on third-party platforms and services to provide parts of its functionality.

These may include services used for:

authentication
cloud infrastructure
data storage
Google Play Billing
advertising
mobile operating-system functionality

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

YaerYield is not responsible for third-party services beyond the extent required by applicable law.

18. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Nest OS available and reliable, but continuous or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.

Features may occasionally be unavailable because of:

maintenance
updates
network conditions
platform changes
third-party outages
security requirements
technical issues

Nest OS may be updated, improved, replaced, or modified over time.

19. Account suspension or restriction

Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to:

protect users
investigate fraud or abuse
address security risks
comply with legal obligations
enforce these Terms

Where appropriate and legally required, users will be given relevant information about material account restrictions.

20. Account deletion

You may request deletion of your Nest OS account.

Where available, account deletion can be initiated within the app.

An external deletion process is also available through the YaerYield website or by contacting:

support@yaeryield.com

Google Play requires apps that support account creation to provide both an in-app deletion route and an external deletion resource.

Deleting your Nest OS account does not necessarily cancel an active Google Play subscription. You should separately manage or cancel the subscription through Google Play where applicable.

21. Privacy

Use of Nest OS is also governed by the Nest OS Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, shared, retained, and deleted.

22. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Nest OS is provided on an “as available” basis.

YaerYield does not guarantee that:

the service will always be uninterrupted
every calculation will be appropriate for every financial situation
projected results will occur
notifications will always be delivered
the service will meet every individual requirement

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.

23. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, YaerYield will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from reliance on user-entered information, projections, reminders, or planning outputs.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

24. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when Nest OS changes, new features are introduced, legal requirements change, or operating practices evolve.

The latest version will be published on this page.

The date at the top indicates when these Terms were last updated.
